The heart of my work.

It started with being thrown in the deep end with BTO News in 2008: I had to produce a full colour, high quality 24-page magazine in just a few weeks, having never had any experience with any aspect of publishing. I embraced the challenge and immersed myself with learning Adobe Creative Suite and I did it - on deadline, my first issue of the magazine I was to go on and edit for a further seven years. Along the way I added BTO Annual Report and Volunteer magazine, leading on design and content as well as editing and writing. Moving to Hawk and Owl Trust in 2017 I took their members' magazine Peregrine under my wing, leading to a radical upgrade as well as Adopt a Box News and the Annual Report.
